About the Author:
Father Antony Brennan, born in Australia to an Irish/English family, initially taught English Literature at universities before delving into the study of neural malfunctions. He later embraced religious life, starting as a monk and then joining the Diocesan priesthood, serving in challenging parishes marked by social issues and poverty. After years of working closely with the bishop at Bishop House, he sought solitude as a hermit in a remote location to deepen his vocation. He cherished the profound silence, the discipline of fasting, the solitary communion with Christ, and the strenuous labor in restoring the dilapidated church and its grounds. Upon his return to Bishop House, he sensed the end of his peaceful retreat.
Now retired from his active duties due to heart issues, he still celebrates the Holy Mass using the 1962 Missal. A prolific writer with a background in English Literature, he dedicates hours each day to writing and has authored fifteen or sixteen books, including a six-part series and a trilogy written for enjoyment.
